Ruth V. PetersonRuth V. Peterson age 89 of North Branch, Minn. passed away Dec. 4, 2003 at the Green Acres Country Care Center. Ruth was born on Dec. 2, 1914 in Amador Township to Anton and Hilda (Saf) Peterson. Ruth loved to crotchet, sew, and knit. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Elmer, Fred and Roy. She is survived by two nephews Edward and wife Myrtle Peterson of North Branch and Alvin and wife Marianne Peterson of Mounds View; one niece Judy Levin and husband Loren of Rapid City, SD; many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Dec. 8 at the Kost Evangelical Free Church in North Branch with Rev. Tom Olson officiating. Music was provided by Ruth Bruns and Jon Ekstrom. Casketbearers were Richard and Keith Peterson, Jeff Szczech, Tim Sletten, Milton Nelson, and Dale Westlund. Interment was in the Kost Cemetery.
