Joan Ann SorensonJoan Ann Sorenson, age 70, of Cambridge died on Dec. 9, 2003 at her home. Joan was born on Oct. 16, 1933 in Pine City, Minn. On Nov. 22, 1952, she married Herbert A. Sorenson. Joan worked as a homemaker. Joan enjoyed fishing, cooking, poker, knitting, and most of all, her family. Joan was preceded in death by two sons, Roger in 1996 and Greg in 1994; four brothers Bob, Earl, Clark, and Fred Foster. She is survived by husband Herbert; two sons Stewart and Sheryl, and Todd and Lisa; one daughter Linda Halverson and Bruce; two brothers Karl and Art Foster; five grandchildren Justin, Shawn, Jason, Erin, Kelsey, Lindsey Ann; and one great-grandson Ethan; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 12, at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch with Rev. Galen Knutson officiating. Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
