Recycling donation appreciated
To the editor:
Wild River Audubon would like to thank Dick and Jenny Johnson, Recycling for Wildlife owners. They recently donated $153.78 to our chapter from the proceeds of the sale of their aluminum cans. This latest donation will support nearly four area elementary school classrooms for an annual subscription to Audubon Adventures.
Those who would like to assist Wild River Audubon in its environmental education programs should remind friends and families to bring their aluminum cans to Recycling for Wildlife (651) 674-7268. They are located on the east side of County 30, 1/2 mile south of Harris. Theyíre open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. They also recycle tires and appliances for a fee.
