Letter: Parents should be proud of kids

To the editor:
Two weeks ago, Saturday, my husband and I were bell ringers in front of Nelsonís Market. The weather was not particularly cold for the first hour, and donations were generous.

Two young middle schoolers, I think, entered Nelsonís, making a donation.

Imagine our pleasure and surprise when, upon leaving, these two young ladies presented us with cups of hot chocolate, and skipped off before we could get their names, shouting ìMerry Christmas!î

It sure made the second hour easier, and, hopefully, their parents realize what a fine job they did raising them.
