Letter: Generosity is much appreciated

To the editor:
During the Christmas season 159 children received gifts for the Christmas Gift-Giving Tree in Rush City. The Christmas Gift-Giving Tree is a joint effort by the Rush City Family Center and the Rush City Jaycees to furnish gifts to children in our school district.

A Christmas tree was on display at the Main Street Market Mall filled with tags representing a child in need. Interested persons took a tag off the tree and bought gifts for the children represented by the tag.

On Tuesday, Dec. 16, parents picked up gifts for their children, along with wrapping paper and tape to deliver to their children.

We would like to publicly thank those who supported the Christmas Gift-Giving Tree by purchasing gifts or donating money. The spirit of giving is alive in so many of our community members.
