NB, RC gymnasts compete at inviteThe North Branch and Rush City gymnastics teams competed at the seven-team Chisago Lakes Invite Dec. 27. Rush City tallied 112.75 points for fifth place at the meet, while North Branch earned 101.55 points for sixth place. Mahtomedi was first with 131.525 and Chisago Lakes was a close second with 130.25. Both teams had members missing at the meet due to injury, illness or holiday commitments. Senior Gabby Calander was the only top ten finisher for the Rush City squad, earning tenth place on beam. North Branchís Allyssa Houle was the teamís only finisher in the top ten, taking eighth place on bars. Following the holiday break, the Rush City squad returns with a meet at Anoka Jan. 5. The Tigers are undefeated at 3-0 in dual meets so far this season. North Branch travels to St. Anthony Jan. 8. ©ECM Post Review |
