Anita L. Sundeen

Anita Lily Sundeen, 85, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at the Cambridge Health Care Center.

She was born November 6, 1918 in Brazil, Iowa to Louis and Elizabeth (Douglas) Stirts.

On March 31, 1945 she was united in marriage to Melville Sundeen in Rock Island, Ill. To this union five children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melville, son Martin, brother William Stirts, sister Edna Stirts, and great granddaughter Sophia Marie Richie.
Anita is survived by children Linda and husband Jerry Swanson of Pine City, Linnea and husband Les Gruver of Lindstrom, Margaret and husband Craig Norstrom of Cambridge, John Sundeen of Clear Lake, Wisc., brothers Luther and wife LaVonne Stirts, Guy and wife Betty Stirts, sister Darlene Richert, and many other relatives.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2003 from Stanchfield Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Dale Cope officiating.

Arrangements were with the Carlson-Labatte Funeral Home in Cambridge.
