North Branch Lions are thankful

To the editor:
The North Branch Lions are very thankful to the many members of the community who donated their time on Thanksgiving Day to help prepare and deliver hot meals to those folks that otherwise would not have had a hot turkey dinner. We are also thankful for the support of Nelsonís Market. But most of all, we are especially thankful to the great people of North Branch who have helped us to raise the funds necessary to accomplish this project fulfilling a real need in our community. Next, we will be delivering a Christmas gift, purchased with the money raised by our various projects, to every resident of Green Acres on Dec.23. Thank you all.
