Be cautious in land use decisions
To the editor:
I have lived most of my life in Chisago County and have lived with all the changes to date. If we had voted to close the door on urban growth 30 years ago I wonder how many of the commissioners and workers in Chisago County would live here now. I was against this undemocratic, bureaucratic, arbitrary control of land then and I am now. It seems the people most wanting to stop growth are the most recent settlers. Curious how we long-time residents have accepted them only to have it come back to haunt us.
Be very cautious and wise in your decisions Ö they may come back to haunt you also.
