Thanks NB police, fire department

To the editor:
We would like to express our thanks to the North Branch police and fire departments for each coming and speaking to our children (and moms) at our Jan. 3 Momís Group meeting. Both departments did a great job of communicating with our children, most of whom range in age from 0 to 6 years old. They were very patient and kind with our children as they spoke to us about properly installing car seats, how to prepare our children for fire safety, and other general safety issues. We moms learned as much or more than our children did. We are a very lucky city to have such great people working to protect us. We all need to thank these men and women when we have the opportunity, not just for protecting us from danger but also for their other contributions to our city. Thanks again to the North Branch police and fire departments.
