Jerome J. Hoppe

Jerome John Hoppe age 75 of North Branch formerly of Stacy died on January 11, 2003 at the Green Acres Country Care Center.
Mass of Christian burial Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003 at 11 a.m. St. Gregoryís Catholic Church in North Branch, Minn. with Father James Schoenberger and Deacon Tom Langlois officiating.
Interment Stacy Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home, North Branch, MInn.
Jerome was born on March 3, 1927 in Melrose, Minn. to Albert and Catherine (Hoebkenberg) Hoppe. He attended Stearns County Public Schools. On September 10, 1956 he married Marguerite A. Dinndorf in Minneapolis, Minn. Jerome worked as an Electrical Lineman for Northern States Power and was member of IBEW Local 160 and Local 23. Several of his jobs took him to Iceland and Greenland. He served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1945.
Jerome enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, traveling and most of all time with his grandchildren.
Jerome was preceded in death by wife Marguerite, sister Ceil Olson and parents.
Survived by three sons Bruce and wife Deb; Brian and wife Deb, both of Stacy, Charlie and friend Holly Ligman of North Branch; two daughters Susan Hoppe and friend Mike Mann of Almelund, Sandra Satterlund and friend Bill Brown of North Branch; 8 Brothers; two sisters; 11 grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
