Become part of your new hometown
To the editor: There are many of us new to this city of North Branch. How many of us have moved up from the Twin Cities? How many of us still work in the cities? Do we still shop there, go to church there or use legal and other services there? I know itís difficult to break the habit of using businesses that we have frequented for a long time. Since we live in North Branch, we can all help to make this a stronger and better place to live. We can use the businesses here. There are many great businesses in this town that do just as good a job, if not better job, as those in the cities. And if you have moved away from your church family, I know how hard it is to try a new one. The one you went to felt like part of the family. Think about the advantages of going to church in your own town. Your children can go to church with their school friends. You may meet people at church that are your neighbors. Attending a church close to home gives you a better opportunity to get involved, allows you to enjoy church programs and helps build a stronger community. We have many good churches to choose from in the North Branch area. Try them out and pick one that most closely meets your needs. Paster Kevin Abundant Life Church of North Branch
