Gratitude expressed to many

To the editor:
I wish to express my sincere thanks to all persons who participated in our programming during the past year. Your participation in Family Pathways Senior Services has helped others in countless, often unnoticeable ways.
First, I wish to thank the families and individuals who let us into their lives to assist and support. Although you may be surprised at being thanked, you have provided countless opportunities for others to put their faith into action by helping each of you. Staff and volunteers always feel privileged to become a part of your lives. The trust you have shown our program is more than enough in return.
Next, I wish to thank the nearly 200 individual volunteers who provided over 13,000 hours of in-home support to seniors and family caregivers living in Pine, Isanti, Chisago, Mille Lacs, and Kanabec Counties during 2002.
Words cannot express my gratitude to you. Too often our staff are thanked for what you as volunteers provided to your community members.
So, from each of us at Senior Services and from each of the 180 families you helped, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your personal donations of time and compassion.
I wish to thank the thousands of persons who support their communities by donating and shopping at Family Pathways Thrift Stores. Proceeds from these stores provide necessary resources to help those in need. I also wish to thank the many businesses, civic groups, churches, and other organizations that have become true and ongoing partners in Family Pathwaysí efforts to build stronger communities one person at a time.
Finally, I wish to thank all staff members, and the individual board members of Family Pathways. Since 1997, it has been my privilege to be part of the fastest growing non-profit agency in the region. I look forward to continuing the mission.
