Youths appreciated for service

To the editor:
The Youth Service Bureau would like to extend a very special thank you to all of the youths who volunteered their time to the YSB presence in the Fourth of July parade. This year, 16 youths got up early to spend their morning marching or rollerblading in the parade with YSB staff.
The youths involved served candy, YSB brochures, and YSB tattoos to the crowds; carried banners, and played beach volleyball to help illustrate our theme: ìServing Up Success.î For 26 years, the Youth Service Bureau has provided quality programs to help youths and families work toward success. This year, the youths contributing to the YSB parade presence were representative of the high achieving youths that have been involved with one or more of the Youth Service Bureauís programs. These youths have many successes to celebrate, and the YSB is honored to have had the opportunity to showcase this great group.
