Hazel E. Barnacle

Hazel E. Barnacle, age 97 of Farmsread of Andover, formerly of Anoka, died on Tuesday,
July 22, 2003 at her residence.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 28, 2003 at Anoka United Methodist Church with Pastor Brenda Kramer King officiating. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Amy Miller, Craig Miller, Sara Barnacle, Corey Fischer, Christine Fischer, Daniel Fischer, Amy-Lynn Cummings, Kelly Dorion and Travis Dorion.

Hazel was born on July 18, 1906 in Courtland, Kansas to Elmer Hedges and Charlotte (Creighton).

Hazel and her husband, Leonard W. Barnacle ran the General Store in Weber, Minn. from 1946 to 1958.

Hazel is survived by her children, Wayne (Margaret), Gary (Cathy), Diane (Jack) Fischer;
five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother, Ernest Hedges; sister, Eunice Holzinger.
She is preceded in death by husband Leonard; four sisters and three brothers.
