RC man arrested
Chisago County Sheriffís investigators arrested a Rush City man after searching his home July 11.
Investigators charged John Robert Denesen, 23, of W. 8th St., with possession of stolen property after they went to his home at 445 W. 8th St. on an investigation of a stolen vehicle.

At the home, Denesonís wife gave officers permission to search the home, the Sheriffís Office said. In the garage, Investigators Doug Henning and Russ Frank found a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup that had been reported stolen out of Washington County. Also in the garage, deputies found materials associated with the production of methamphetamine.

Information received during the investigation at the Rush City house led investigators to contact the Isanti County Sheriffís Department for assistance at an Isanti address.

When officers arrived at 8662 County Road 5 NE, they found stolen motor vehicle parts.

Denesen was released from the Chisago County jail on $1,000 bond.
