Lucille Splittstoser

Lucille Splittstoser, age 81, of North Branch died June 12, 2003 at the Cambridge Medical Center.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 16, at St. John Lutheran Church at Weber with Rev. Lyle Kath officiating. Howard Doble was the soloist and Nancy Peabody served as organist. The pallbearers were David Barstow, Melvin Pfaffendorf, Donald, Ordeen and Raymond Splittstoser and David Trulson. Interment was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Lucille Mae Splittstoser was born May 21, 1922 in Minneapolis to Daniel and Alice Krans. She married Emanuel Splittstoser in 19843. To this marriage seven children were born.
Lucille spent many years farming with her husband and children. They made their home in rural North Branch. Lucille loved gardening and her flowers. She enjoyed camping, playing cards with her friends and attending activities at the Senior Center. As a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Weber she was active in ladies aid and other church activities.
She is survived by her children: Dan (Diane), Mark (Fran), Bruce, Lyle (Darlene, Joyce (John Wiberg, Betty (Don) Boll; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice peterson and Gladys Challstrom; and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel; infant sone; two sisters, Grace Barstow and Lillian Weiss; and great-grandson, Joseph.
