Open letter to our community

To the editor:
Dear Senator Sean Nienow and Congressman Pete Nelson,
We as the City Council of North Branch, would like to express our appreciation for your support of the Highway 95 Bridge project. As you are aware, we have spent the past seven years pushing, planning, preparing and seeking an upgrade to this bridge. Your support is crucial to demonstrate the importance of this safety and transportation project. With our unified effort, the funding for this upgrade will become a reality. Your bills, both House and Senate, are wonderful. We are so thankful that you both have moved so quickly to press this very important measure.
The City of North Branch and Chisago County will benefit by the improvement in pedestrian, recreational and vehicular safety. We will also benefit economically. We appreciate your willingness to work with the City of North Branch and Chisago County for the betterment of our community.
