Richard H. Kannisto

Richard H. Kannisto, age 70 of North Branch, Minn. born on Aug. 28, 1932, died on March 3, 2003, due to complications from diabetes.
Kannisto served in the army and retired from the Review Corp. where he was a printer for many years.
He is preceded in death by first wife Angeline, 3 sons: Joseph, Kenneth, and infant, parents Harry and Grace Kannisto.
Richard is survived by his second wife Doris, 4 sons Richard (Bonnie), John (Michelle), Daniel (Lynn) and Roger (Cheryl); 2 daughters Dorothy and Julie (David) Britton; 3 step-sons George Miros, Randy (Ester) Taylor, and Billy (Kim Taylor; 3 step-daughters Patty (Gary) Sauer, Lynda (Jack) Filla and Debbie Taylor; 2 sisters Marianne (Lauren) Jonason and Janet (Robert) Rainer; 27 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many in laws, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2003 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minn. Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Interment 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Cemetery in New York Mills, Minn. 651-257-4000.
