James Callies

James Matthew Callies of North Branch, died on April 29, 2003 at the age of 39 years.
Jim graduated from Cambridge High School in 1982. He continued his education by attending the Milwaukee School of Engineering for three years. Jim worked for Meca Sportswear for many years and this past year was self-employed as a Marketing representative for Stitch of the Time.
Jim married Tracy Fairbanks on April 12, 2003 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Jim was diagnosed with cancer August of 2002. Never did Jim lose his great sense of humor or his love of life.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy, and his stepchildren Chad and Laura, his father
Donald Callies (Carol), mother Mildred Fischer, sister DeNae Larsen (Doug), Kevin and
Derick, and brother George. Also survived by his father- and mother-in-law, Delmer and Jean Fairbanks, sisters-in-law Terri (Tom), Trudy, brothers-in-law Tim (Holly), Troy, and several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch with Rev. Galen Knutson officiating. Interment was in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
