Coming in with a 1-0 lead, Serreyn scored her second goal of the game just thirty seconds into the second period, again assisted by Zebro. Four minutes later, Silver Bay came within one with a goal off the face off in St. Francis territory, for a 2-1 game. Katie Hosch extended the St. Francis lead with two goals in the period, at 7:19 and 2:33 remaining. Carolyn Setter was credited with assists on both goals. Hosch and Setter are both from St. Francis. Holding a comfortable 4-1 lead into the final period, the Saints added 3 more goals in the final stanza. The first came on a power play, after North Branchís Tawnee Henry was checked on a breakaway in Silver Bay territory. St. Francisís Katrina Wasche found the net on the power play at 14:22 remaining for a 5-1 lead. Serreyn was credited with the assist. Wasche added her second goal of the game with 3:59 remaining, this one unassisted.
