Baumann named to all-state team

North Branch High School senior Britt Baumann was recently named to the Minnesota Associated Press 2003 All-State team for football.

The all-state team is voted on by a statewide panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.
Baumann was the Vikingsí starting kicker this season, helping the team to a second place finish in the Rum River Conference.

He set the team record for most career field goals and earned all-conference for his efforts.

Baumann was also given the Viking Award from the coaching staff this season.

He is the son of Bill and Carol Baumann.
