Democrats for life group forming

To the editor:
A new organization has formed within the Democratic Party. On Friday, Aug. 22, Democrats who oppose abortion gathered at the state Capitol to start a Minnesota chapter of Democrats for Life of America.
At this event there was a group of high-profile Democrats who oppose abortion which include 8th District. Y.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar, 7th District U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson, St. Paul Mayor Randy Kelly, State Senator Dean Johnson and Janet Robert who was a DFL candidate for congress last year and is the founder of this Minnesota Chapter.
Janet Robert said, ìThere is no reason the Democratic There is doing to be a meeting in St. Cloud on Nov. 2. After this meeting Iíll be writing again to inform everyone what the For Life Democratic movement decided. Wouldnít it be wonderful to have both the Republican and Democratic parties of Minnesota be totally for life.
