Many thanks from apple festival

To the editor:
Only in a small community can you find the level of support that we have each year with our apple festival. Pies, apple desserts and other goodies are baked for us to sell and we appreciate each and every one of them. Thanks also to those who donate time helping us with set up, clean up and working throughout the festival and to the Rush City Quilting Club for their display in the 1865 log cabin.
Special thanks to the entertainers: Sunrise Cloggers and Judy Paul, Kichi Saga Swedish Dancers and the Junior Swedish Dancers, Jay Schueller and th Blue Grass Band.
Your entertainment was enjoyed by many.
Thanks to Maggie Kuusisto and her Amador Clydesdales, Perry Lindberg for the Model-T rides, Almelund Lions, Immanuel Lutheran youth group and the Almelund All Stars 4-H group for their help and participation.
We also appreciate the great newspaper coverage sponsored by S & C Bank and th ePost Review. Your donations are enabling us to reconstruct another log cabin this year.
