Learn about levy and then vote

To the editor:
I know how busy parents can be. There are so many things that can fill up a daily schedule. Along with your work schedule, many families have children who are involved in many activities before and after school. For many families, time is a precious commodity.
I am asking each parent in the district to take some of their valuable time to do two simple things. First, take time to learn about the districtís operating levy referendum. Passage of this levy is absolutely critical to the future of our district. Our district will be faced with serious budget cuts if the levy is not approved. As parents, it is our responsibility to learn about the operating levy and share the information with others.
The second thing that we all need to do is to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 4. It is not enough to think the operating levy is a good idea. You need to go cast your vote and be part of the decision. Please find time in your busy schedule to support our kids by voting yes on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Ý Ý
