Learn more about the levy

To the editor:
Most parents are looking for the best possible schools for their children. In the North Branch area, we are very fortunate because our schools have a long tradition of excellence. As I consider the proposed operating levy, I see it as an opportunity to make something good even better.
My children have had a wonderful experience in the North Branch School District. The teachers and staff are focused on helping students be successful and it shows. Students in our district consistently do well on state tests and are well prepared when they leave the district to attend college or other post-secondary opportunities. While I am pleased with our districtís performance in the past, I want to make sure that we can continue to maintain a high quality system.
In the coming weeks, I hope we will all take the time to learn more about the operating levy referendum. It is essential that we understand how this operating levy will affect our students.Ý
