Another way you can help others

To the editor:
From Oct. 1 until Nov. 30, Spirit of a Child Foundation will be holding a Backpack To Success drive.

Our foundation delivers educational supplies to American Indian children residing on Indian reservations. The children that we serve are well below poverty level and have a very high drop out rate. It is our hope that by supplying the basic educational supplies, we can improve their chances of success in school.
To participate is easy.

Purchase any backpack, fill it with supplies for any grade level, K-12, add a book for that grade level, your choice, put a tag on the backpack indicating grade level.

Bring to your participating school or church. you may also mail your backpack(s) to our address.

The backpacks will be sent to the reservations to be used for Christmas gifts for the children. Thank you so much for your help and God bless you all during the upcoming holiday season.

Participants please e-mail me of your participation and when a pick-up is needed. We will pick up or pay shipping to Cambridge depending on your location. Thank you for your help with this very worthwhile project.
