Hospice golf tournament a success

To the editor:
The 15thÝannual Tee-Up for Hospice Golf Tournament was, once again, a huge success.ÝThe event committee would like to thank each and every golfer who braved the hot, humid weather to help raise money for Fairview Lakes HomeCaring Hospice. In addition to many business sponsors throughout the area, a special thank you goes to our major tournament sponsors: Plastic Products, Wally Carlsons BP, Lake Area Bank, RiverBank, Blue Bunny Dairy, Zinpro Corp, and Fairview Lakes Regional Health Care, who were so generous in their support. Over the past 15 years, this event has raised more than $120,000. This money has been used to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to those who are terminally ill, helped train hundreds of volunteers to offer support and care, and funded grief support groups and programming.
On behalf of the event committee, I would like to offer our most sincere thanks to all participants, past and present, for 15 years of support.
