Elsie M. Dahlman

Elsie M. Dahlman, age 98 of North Branch, Minn. died on Sept. 14, 2003 at the Birchwood Health Care in Forest Lake, Minn.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, at
11 a.m. at the Spring Lake Lutheran Church in North Branch, with Rev. Tim Bjorge officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch, Minn.
Elsie loved life. She was always happy and had a smile on her face.
Elsie was born on Aug. 13, 1905 in Nessel Township to Albert and Mary (Katzel) Strelow. She attended school at the Ganewood School to the 8th grade. The family attended church at St. Johnís Lutheran Church on Rush Lake.
On Oct. 24, 1935 she married Roy Dahlman at the Spring Lake Lutheran Church. The couple owned the Tourist CafÈ in North Branch for many years.
Elsie loved music, which she would sing with her family. She also enjoyed flowers and cooking.
Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy in 1975, three brothers William, Arthur and Milton, three sisters Martha, Clarice and Millie.
Elsie is survived by one sister Hazel Hurlbert of Seattle, Wash.; many nieces, nephews and friends.
