Taxpayerís Leagueís TV ads
To the editor: The Taxpayerís League of Minnesota is a group of wealthy businessmen who profess to represent the ìmiddle class working familiesî of Minnesota. This is a total misrepresentation. They are a small group of multi-millionaires who are getting richer by the minute as more and more of the ìworking familiesî they represent are losing their jobs. Now they are again taking on the state workers, comprised of the ìmiddle class, tax paying, working familiesî that they profess to represent. They are a radical group that called for the firing of 40,000 state workers during Pawlentyís campaign. They must be filled with hate to demand that 40,000 people be tossed out on the street. Sounds like prejudice and discrimination to me. Thatís regressive, not progressive. Jim Howe North Branch
