Lance ìFrenchieî LaVesseur

Lance ìFrenchieî LaVesseur age 56 of Stacy, MN died on Sept. 16, 2003 from cancer at his home in Stacy.
Lance was born on Aug. 31, 1947 to Richard and Veva LaVasseur in St. Paul, MN. He attended school at the Chisago City High School graduating in 1965. He married Sabine Levy on March 3, 1979 in Hinesville, GA.
Lance was retired SFC after 24 years of service. He was working in maintenance for the USPS for the last 13 years.
Lance enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and hanging out with friends and family.
Lance was preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers Richard Jr. and Danny. Survived by his wife Sabine, 1 son Richard; 1 daughter Denise; 2 grandchildren Zachary and Weston; Godchildren Ronnie Willing and Luke LaVasseur; Mother Veva; 2 brothers, Michael (Julie), Bob (Lori); two sisters Cherie (Denni), Debbie (Jim); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 10, 2003 at the V.F.W. Club in Forest Lake, MN from 6:00 p.m. until ?. This will be a time to share memories with family and friends. A meal will be served and music will be by Melvin Winberg.
