Dr. Vinyl franchise opens in North Branch

Dr. Vinyl, the franchise leader in the automotive after-market industry, has opened a new franchise that will serve cities from North Branch to Duluth in Minnesota and Superior, Wisc.
Brett and Polly Melhus own the franchise, which will be called Dr. Vinyl of East Central Minnesota.
The company provides appearance reconditioning and repair for vinyl, leather, fabric, plastics and automotive windshields.
During the intensive training program, Brett Melhus demonstrated a ìreal talent to perform excellent repairs as well as an understanding of what constitutes exceptional customer service,î said Tom Buckley, Dr. Vinylís director of franchise sales.
Polly Melhus will be involved in the management of the local franchise.
Brett Melhus formerly worked as a furniture repair technician.
