To the editor:
Thanks to those families who have been diligently cutting the labels for education off Campbell soup cans, Prego, Pepperidge Farm and Swanson products. There were 32,000 labels collected and redeemed for items we really need in Early Childhood and Kindergarten.
Provided were 10 paint brush sets and no-spill paint containers; each set contained eight color-coded brushes with 10 corresponding cups, for a total of 200 items.
Three giant glue pumps to refill our glue bottles, two teaching telephones and nine dozen glue sticks.
We also were able to buy some teaching videos on Amazing Animals, their senses and disguises, as well as a Sesame Street video on sharing. Keep clipping and saving the labels and collecting Kemps caps, your contributions are very much appreciated.
