Elisabeth Kleven, age 79 of Harris, died on July 31, 2004 at the Fairview Lakes Hospital in Wyoming.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 5, at noon Fort Snelling Chapel. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch and one hour before services at the Chapel. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Lunch will follow interment.
Elizabeth was born on July 11, 1925, in Dossenheim, Germany, to Jacob and Katharina (Ries) Apfel. On June 30, 1955, she married Orlin M. Kleven in Dossenheim, Germany.
Elizabeth worked as a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting with friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband Orlin, six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by son William, Ddaughter Kathleen Freeman, three grandchildren, Angela, Christopher and Lisa, many other relatives and friends.
