The North Branch/St. Francis girlsí hockey team remained undefeated over the weekend with a 16-0 drubbing of Eveleth-Gilbert and a 9-0 win over Moose Lake.
The varsity team has victories against Princeton, Tri-City and Andover, and a tie with Grand Rapids-Greenway.
The JV team record is 2-1 with wins over Tri-City and Andover and a loss to Grand Rapids.
The team includes athletes from St. Francis and North Branch. North Branch players are sophomore Tawnee Henry, freshmen Amanda Johnson, Katelyn Danks, Anna Santa Brigida, Nicole Bredahl and Alys Morrison, and 8th graders Angela Jordan and Kasandra Kiester.
Up next: Dec. 2 at Buffalo, Dec. 4 v. Irondale and Dec. 7 v. Rogers. All games start at 7:30 p.m.
