Marie ėMillieî (Froke) Sauro, age 75, of North Branch went to be with Jesus on Feb. 19, 2004, as a result of cancer.
Celebration of Millieís life will be held at Abundant Life Church, 6486 Elm St., in North Branch, Minn., on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 3 P.M. In lieu of flowers, Millie preferred that memorials be given to Abundant Life Youth Ministries.
She was born May 5, 1928 to Andrew and Helen Froke. She is survived by: sons, Christy W. Sauro Jr. and wife JoAnn, of North Branch, Michael Joseph Sauro of St. Paul, daughter, Elaine Marie Persons, and husband Art of St. Charles, Minn.; grandchildren, Chris III, Angela, and Sharon Sauro of North Branch, Chad and Penny Persons of Duluth, Kari Persons of Kenosha, Wisc., Steve and Kim (Persons) Deedrick of South Bend, Ind., and Christopher Persons of St. Charles, Minn., great-grandchildren, Myranda, Cameron, Dawson, and Noah; brother, Bill Froke and wife Evelyn of Milwaukee, Oregon and their children Cheri (Chuck), Mary Lou, and Jim (Patty); descendants of Jovina Sauro and many other relatives and friends.
Millie was lovingly cared for in her home at Shields Plaza by her family. The family greatly appreciates the support by Fairview Hospice (especially Lynn, RN) Geri Vana, Paul Underdahl, Pastor Kevin and the Abundant Life Church Family.
