Vivian E. HueneckeVivian E. Huenecke of Harris died Sun. Jan. 11 at Green Acres Country Care at the age of 83. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at First Lutheran Church in Harris. There will be a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch. There will be a family graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials to First Lutheran Church preferred in lieu of flowers. Vivian was born Jan. 4, 1921 in Cambridge Township to Hilmar and Bertina Forsberg. She married Harland Huenecke on May 30, 1942 in Cambridge Lutheran Church. She worked as a bookkeeper at several businesses in the area and at the Chisago County Courthouse for 25 years. Vivian was a Sunday school teacher, member of the choir, the church council, and LCW of First Lutheran. She was also active as a 4-H leader, and in the Community Club. She enjoyed walking, sewing, gardening and flowers. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Harland, daughter Anita (Verlyn) Mohr, sons David (Cindy) Huenecke, Lee (Brenda) Huenecke, brother Vernon (Leona) Forsberg, brother-in-law Howard (Eunice) Huenecke, sister-in-law Shirley Heath, grandchildren Carmen Anderson, Brian (Monica) Mohr, Rene (James) Nowicki, Sean (Cathy) Huenecke, Todd (Carrie) Huenecke, Molly (Joseph) Roenna, Jason Aeric (Matthew Williams) Huenecke, Heather (Michael) Mench, great-grandchildren; Tyler, Brandon and Alexander Anderson, Andrew, Garrett, Shelby Mohr, Erik, Luke Huenecke, Nicholas, Madison Mench, and Sofia Roenna. ©ECM Post Review |
