Thanks for remembering Parmly

To the editor:
On behalf of Parmly Senior Housing & Services, I would like to thank our area communities for joyfully remembering our seniors during the holiday season.

Beautiful Christmas trees throughout the residence were creatively decorated by Enchanted Gates, Chisago City; the Chisago Lakes High School Student Council, August Lalli Flowers, Lindstrom; the Green Forest Tree Farm, Stacy; Wal-Mart, Forest Lake; and Target, Forest Lake.

The entertainment during December was especially festive with volunteers from various churches, girl and boy scouts, the Salvation Army, area schools, church youth groups and many talented individuals giving of their time to entertain and bring happiness and fun for the residents during their afternoon coffee time. A variety of thoughtful gifts were given to the residents as well as the staff.

As we begin to celebrate our 100th anniversary year, Parmly is blessed that our community thoughtfully cares about the older adults that we serve throughout the year and into our second century of service.
