To the editor:
Nuclear presidents before GWB did not base Americaís foreign policy on ìHit the other guy before he ëmightí hit America.î If former presidents shared this GWB mindset the earth would most likely have been a lifeless rock before the 2000 election.
Were there nasty dictators before Saddam and GWB? Absolutely.
Mao and Stalin murdered and tortured millions of their countrymen. Communist cells sought to defeat America and freedom. Members of Communist cells were as secret and as committed to Americaís demise as Osama and his followers.
President Reagan said, ìMr. Gorbechev tear down that wall.î He didnít add, ìOr we will blow you to hell and back.î
GWB sent our sons and daughters into ìHarms Wayî to put down a twit ñ a mean and nasty dictator but not a threat to America ñ and put a limited force into Afghanistan to seek and destroy our real enemy ñ Osama Bin Laden.
GWB is more of a threat to peace and freedom than Saddam ever was before or after 9/11. GWB would face impeachment if he were a Democrat with a Republican Congress rather than a Republican President with a Republican Congress. GWB should be fired in November.
