To the editor:
Masquers is expressing much thankfulness and gratitude to a ÝJeff Range who just opened the Scandia Creamery Banquet Hall on the corner of Olinda Trail and 97 in Scandia. JeffÝcalled me up one afternoonÝout of the blue. He mentioned he saw our ìAnything Goesî sign and called our number inquiring if we needed space to perform our productions. He was not aware that we were looking for space in the spring or fall outside of our summer season. Lo and behold, Masquers will be bringing back our dinner theatre which use to be performed at Vanelliís (now the Lobster Shack on Hwy. 97). Thus, thanks to Jeff and his caterer Tony at the Scandia CreameryÝBanquet Hall,Ýwe will be producing another theatre venue thisÝOctober ìFather of the Bride.î
Look for details in the Community Ed guideÝincluding a father-daughter matinee luncheon and your local papers. BrettÝMattson our ìSouth Pacificî stage managerÝwill be busily selling tickets for this production after the ìSouth Pacificî run.ÝIf interested inÝassisting asÝa food and beverage serverÝfor this October production, earning complimentary gift certificates,Ýcontact Deborah at (651) 433-4629.ÝWe at Masquers Theatre are looking forward toÝbringing yíallÝquality local entertainmentÝyear around!
