Mary Lou Shields, age 59 of North Branch died suddenly on July 18, 2004, at her home in North Branch.
Mary was born on Dec. 23, 1944 in Marshall to Walter and Martha (Domier) Jandl.
She attended high school in Tracy. She married Thomas Shields in Marshall. Mary worked as a regional director for the Star and Tribune newspaper.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother-in-law. Mary is survived by husband Tom; son Jason; 3 brothers Charles (Fran) Jandl, Jim (Darlene) Jandl, Bob (Kris) Jandl; 3 sisters Lucille (Bill) Silverberg, Delores DeLanghe, and Shirley (Ed) Zylstra; many other relatives and friends.
Mass of christian burial is Thursday, July 22, 2004, at 11 a.m. St. Gregoryís Catholic Church in North Branch. Visitation from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch and one hour before services at the church. Interment St. Josephís Catholic Cemetery.
