Cancer survivors from around the community are invited to take a victory lap and be cheered on by fellow participants of the 2004 Chisago County Relay for Life Friday, July 30.
A reception for the cancer survivors will be held under the tent at Tanger Outlet Center parking lot, where the Relay track is set up, at 6 p.m.
Survivors can pick up their free survivorís t-shirts and 2004 Survivorís pin at this time.
There will be cake and coffee and time to visit before the Relay for Life opening ceremonies at 7 p.m.
During the Relay program, Dr. Robert Gist, a cancer survivor, will speak on his first-hand experiences dealing with cancer.
There will also be a special butterfly ceremony for survivors and their families.
