To the editor:
This year marks 85 years of medical care in the St. Croix river valley that began with the Riegel family. This July also marks the 50th anniversary of the construction of the hospital building. We think these are reasons to celebrate. You are cordially invited to join us on July 16 for a picnic and a special dedication of the new medical wing. Weíre hoping for outstanding weather that day as we gather to honor our history.
Weíll begin our celebration on Friday, July 16 with a cookout that will include a free picnic lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on the north side of the medical center. Lunch will be followed by a special dedication ceremony in front of the clinic building at 1:45 p.m.
We appreciate the support weíve received from our patients and families over the years, and this is one way of saying thank you. We will also be formally recognizing the many medical contributions made by the Riegel family since 1919. Their early work has made it possible for St. Croix Regional Medical Center to continue to provide outstanding patient care.
