If you love planes and classic cars, youíll want to be sure to attend the annual Fly-In/Drive-In in Rush City this Sunday, June 13 at the Rush City Regional Airport.
The day begins with a pancake breakfast put on by the Rush City Lions Club from 8 a.m. to noon.
Stroll through the aisle of classic cars and see an assortment of airplanes including the T-6 Texans and other unique aircraft.
Sign up to win a ride in a L-29 jet, or take a ride in a plane for $15 a person. Other attractions include tethered Re/Max balloon rides at $5 each. Concessions will be sold in the afternoon.
There will be no general parking at the airport during the event. Free shuttle buses will be available from the Rush City public works garage and the municipal liquor store parking lots. FAA control tower - pilots monitor frequency 124.35.
