Last call for organizations and businesses to participate in our National Night Out at the Parks on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
This yearís National Night Out at the Parks theme is ìtake the bite out of crime and drugs.î Various organizations and businesses have signed up to offer personal safety demonstrations, personal safety products sales, drug education booths (what is meth and how can I identify a user), information about the importance of neighborhood watch groups, etc. Youth activities will be provided so parents
can have time to talk about various safety issues. Food will be sold to raise funds for scholarships. Gun locks will be provided as well as other safety resources.
If your organization or business wants to be part of this community event to promote safety, please contact Jeanne Leland at North Branch Community Education by June 9.
