Herbert Roy Bernhagen age 75 of Harris, Minn. died on May 30, 2004 at his home after a long battle with Myeloplastic disorder.

Herbert was born on July 16, 1938 in Hutchinson to Edward and Emma (Galek) Bernhagen. He attended high school at Hutchinson and graduated in 1946. He attended Dunwoody Institute from 1947 until 1948 and took course in refrigeration and air conditioning. On June 21, 1950 he married Donna Daharsh in Hutchinson. He worked as a sales representative for 30 years.

Herbert enjoyed farming, gardening and hunting.

Survived by: wife Donna; children Derek (Maria), Jody (Jim Perron, Ron (Molly) Mike (Lisa) and Debi (Andy) Bowe; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings Ed (Ramona Cole), Ruth (Malcolm) Schwarze and John (Letty); many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Friday, June 4, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Fish Lake Lutheran Church Harris, Minn. with Rev. Dale Stiles officiating. Visitation on Thursday, June 3 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Grandstrand Funeral Home North Branch. and one hour before at church. Interment Fish Lake Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the church. Dad, we love you and will hold you in our hearts forever. Thank you for everything.
