To the editor:
On May 15 a motion was passed to call a meeting to approve amending Article II, section 4 of the Rush Lake Improvement Association by-laws. The issue is the 4th of July fireworks display and the present need for annual approval by the members in attendance. ĘThe change in this by-law would sanction annual fireworks without membership approval.
Currently $4,000 is being spent on this event.
This issue will be discussed at the June 19 meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the Nessel Town Hall. Your questions, opinions and vote are important.ĘPlease attend.
Only paid up members of the Rush Lake Improvement Association are eligible to vote.
