Loretta K. (Link) Larson of North Branch, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, great aunt, godmother and friend died suddenly and peacefully at her home in North Branch at the age of 62 on June 23, 2004.
Loretta was born in Minneapolis. She was married to Jan T. Larson in 1962 and had four children. They moved to North Branch in 1973. Loretta was a very dedicated mom staying home and working only very part time to raise her children, until they took on owning their first business, Original Shoe store in 1986, then Mr. Movies 1993 and finally with three of her children, Family Video in 2001.
In the years she enjoyed golfing, bowling, and traveling, but she was happiest when she was with her children and grandchildren watching them play in their sports and in their school activities and holidays with everyone together.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Loretta Link, brother Cyril (Sonny) Link, two sisters Geraldine Schwender and Charlotte Mertz.
She will be deeply missed by her children Holly (Noel) Saunders, Heidi (Bryan) Jepsen, JaySun (Fiancee Kristina) and Ted Larson. She will also be missed by her grandchildren: John, Ariann and Deric, Eric, Josh and Ryan, Nichole and James, Cassie and Brittany Saunders, Michael and Eric (Beth) Jepsen; great-grandchildren Katie, Maddie and baby girl Jepsen;í sisters Kathleen Brannick, Frances Cole, LuVerne (Curt) Youngkin, Darlene (Charles) Gale and brother LeRoy (Jerry) Link; daughter-in-law Lauri (Aaron) Ham, her ìGoing Northî and travel buddy Irene Coe and many caring Godchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was held June 28, at St. Gregoryís Catholic Church, North Branch, with interment at St. Josephís Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
