The North Branch baseball squad ended its season with a quarterfinal loss to Grand Rapids June 1.
In the 10-0 shutout, the Vikings were able to tally just two hits, coming in the form of singles from Nick Aaland and Marty Savage.
Senior Jake Anderson took the loss on the mound for North Branch, giving up 11 hits.
The Vikings end the season with a 7-14 overall record.
The team ends the year with an overall batting average of .250.
Individual batting averages were: Matt Sederberg- 1 for 1 (.1000); Nick Aaland- 20 for 56 (.357); Patrick Ryan- 19 for 59 (.322); Matt Warren- 20 for 63 (.317); Dominic Stahley- 20 for 67 (.299); Robert Stahley- 4 for 14 (.286); Joe Ranger- 9 for 40 (.225); Matt Fletcher- 11 for 53 (.208); Jake Anderson- 8 for 43 (.186); Marty Savage- 10 for 59 (.169); Daniel Gray- 5 for 31 (.161) and Ed Meier- 6 for 40 (.150).
