The search for a replacement for Rush City School District Superintendent Tim Eklund continues.
Fifty-three individuals inquired about the position which will be open at the end of the school year. Fifty responded, but not all sent in complete applications for the job.
The school board has been pouring through stacks of resumes during special work sessions.
They have selected seven candidates for interviews on Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5.
The two-hour long interviews will include a tour of the districtís facilities.
The interviews are open to the public. The first interviews on both Friday and Monday will begin at 9 a.m. They will be held in the conference room at the high school, next to the district office.
The school board will hold another special session at 6:30 p.m., March 22 to formulate questions for the interviews.
The Post Review was unable to obtain the names of the candidates by press time this week.
